Let's push Plone 7 into the fast lane.

From June 8 to 12, 2026, Plone developers, designers and marketing professionals from around the world are invited to gather in Kerpen — at the offices of Interaktiv GmbH. Five intensive days. Real code. Real momentum. And a community that burns for what it builds. Don't miss your chance.

"Every championship is won lap by lap. We're here to clock the next one — Plone 7 und der hood, the community behind the wheel."

— Jörg Zell, CEO Interaktiv GmbH

Marketing Follow-Up

Building on the momentum of the Stellenbosch Sprint (January 2026), we'll sharpen Plone's presence together — messaging, materials and more.

Community & Collaboration

Sprints are more than code. They're connections. You'll work side by side with the people who make Plone — share a coffee, exchange ideas and go home with relationships that last.!

Who is this sprint for?

This sprint is aimed at community members experienced in Plone development  — or working in marketing, documentation and communications. If you already know about the ongoing initiatives, then you know: things are happening here. Whether you're a core developer, an integrator, a designer or someone who helps spread the word about Plone — your skills and perspective have a place at this sprint. The more diverse the team, the stronger the result.

No formal application required — just a genuine interest in pushing Plone 7 forward and the drive to make things happen. If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you in Kerpen.

The Interaktiv Lab

The sprint takes place at the Interaktiv Lab — our modern workspace in the heart of Kerpen, just 20 minutes from Cologne. The Lab is built for exactly this kind of focused, collaborative work: open spaces for group sessions, quiet corners for deep-focus coding, fast internet, good coffee and everything a team needs to be productive for five days straight. Visteonstr. 9, 50170 Kerpen — easy to reach by car or public transport, with parking on site.

We've made sure the space works for every kind of work — whether you need a quiet spot to focus or a larger area for group discussions and whiteboard sessions, both are available throughout the sprint. And you won't need to think about the basics: we'll take care of lunch, drinks and snacks every day so you can stay in the zone and focus on what matters.
